Work on a theme “Victory’s track in my family” Form 8A of school NVK “Habad”, Odessa Kislenko Tanya 63 years passed…Second world war rushed past all over the world, tearing families, separating nears, taking away with itself millions of people. Almost in every family there is a hero, which militated for the sake of the nears, native, for the sake of Great victory, that their descendants didn’t know, what World war, that this horror repeated oneself never again. This war didn’t go round my family, too. A few days prior to occupation of Odessa my grandmother Betya Yefimovna with her mother, two sisters, Ann and Zhenya, and their younger brother (unfortunately, his name was not saved) left Odessa and departed in Stalinabad. In a few days grandmother’s aunt family must left Odessa, too, but they didn’t have time to do it, because Odessa was left by troops and Romanians and Germans entered there. Presently we know about them that they perished in the Odessa ghetto only. On the way in Stalinabad for my grandmother stole all money and documents and her younger brother died, because it was nothing to eat. When they already reached to the city, a grandmother added itself two years, when did a new birth certificate, in an order to go to study in school of the trained nurses, and then to go to work. Upon termination of studies she worked as a druggist in a pharmacy at a hospital, and in the evening helped wounded, washed bandages. In a hospital a grandmother became acquainted with the injured border guard which was called by Vasiliy Mikolaevich and which treated oneself there. When he got better, he had written letters to grandmother, and after war they got married. My grandmother had an elder brother Anatoliy, which rushed past all war, reached to Berlin, was injured and recipient of an award many medals and orders. After war part which he served in was in the area of rocket examinations and there he became ill radiation illness. And how in those years nobody was able it to treat, he died very quickly. Later the grandmother very warmly reminisced him and told, that he had been a very good, brave and honest person. A whole epoch lies between Great world war and today. And here already 63 years our country does not know, what war and we with deep gratitude give a contribution the heroes of elder generation, which got and defended everything what we today value and are proud of.
